The WNMU women's team are now 1-3 in conference play after dropping a close match to Montana State University – Billings on Friday afternoon. Despite the 7-2 score, eight matches were within two points. The Mustangs hope to rebound Saturday morning when they take on Metro State College in Pueblo, Colorado.
“MSU - Billings is the top girls team in the RMAC right now, and we had our chances to upset them, ” says head coach Erik Burton. “Our #1 doubles team was up 7-2 in the match and somehow could not finish off the match. That was a big momentum swing. We are really starting to play well for being a very young team.”
